What is perspective? Is it something that you see through, something that you know of, something that you are?
What does the state of perspective that one is in at any given moment depend on? Is it the intrinsic factors of the conscious and sub-conscious self? The external influences of the world, or does it depend on the influence of the Holy Spirit inside?
Where the portions of these three collide in our lives, is where we find our current state of reality.
What kind of reality is our perspective allowing us to live? Can that reality change, can it be morphed into something that is greater than ourselves? Greater than a small individual part of a plan?
Well that all depends, on the way one perceives their perspective, and that is not something that an individual can do from the outside looking in.
That is why come full circle, our perspective is dependent on other influences then just the conscious being we are.
No matter what perspective is held, all share the fact that perspective in its nature cannot be changed without an input sourced from outside.
Take a look at these perspective influencer examples:
Specifically, in my life, anxiety more than not is found cluttering my mind. It causes internal chaos and formulates lies inside of my head. It causes stress, over-complication, and often a type of vision that is anything but clear. It is a part of myself but not the self that I can control, but the self that at times I find trying to control me. The perspective here is influenced by my subconscious self.
Often times, we are hard on ourselves to appear attractive to those around. Good grades for the parents, cool factor for the peers, and the list goes on. Even if one is what is wanted to be, it is felt that conforming is the only choice when “making” it in the world is concerned. The perspective here is influenced by the social pressures of the world around.
Feeling the peace that surpasses all understanding, especially during times where the level of understanding is calculated to zero, allows for a recognition that the storm occurring won’t end in drowning. Yet hard the situation still remains, but now the stressor seems smaller now, due to the comfort of the power within. The perspective here is influenced by the Spirit of the Living God!
